We were tasked with creating a space that encourages interaction and spontaneous engagement. The space should be modern "lite." The living and kitchen area became central from which all circulation paths bisect. A writers studio and home office allow both homeowners the space to conduct their individual businesses with the right blend of accessibility and privacy.

The terraced plan flows from inside to outside following the sloping site. Modes of activity take advantage of the various levels and unique spaces created.

The lowest level features an eight-car collector's garage. The spiral stair, trophy room and glass overhead doors provide the right ambience to highlight the collection.
